For Johanna-I really think you are being too hard on yourself!! A year is
brand new to quilting and I for one do not inspect to see if points match or
whatever-if your friends check that closely-get new friends.
Keep up your hobby and if you eed specific pointers-e-mail me.

Subject: I'm a Mac too
Yes, Kathi,
I'm a MAC owner too. I once had a Mac program for designing quilts, I wish
I could remember its name. The demo was called Baby Mac. My Mac then just
didn't have enough 'poop' to run it so I put it away until I could buy a
Power Mac. Now that I have th Power Mac, I can't find the program! :-(
Even PC owners can relate I'm sure. Does anyone out there know a Mac quilt
design program??

Good Morning All,
If anyone is in the Chicago area, there is a great quilt show this weekend
in Dekalb, Illinois. I have 3 quilted wall hangings being judged and would
love to meet you there. You can leave a message at The Cotton Peddler
booth in the vendors area, and I will try to find you. For information on
the show, go to http://geocities.com/Heartland/Oaks/4432/ or you can email
me privately. I look forward to meeting any of my Kaffee-klatsch friends.

Subject: featherweights
After years of me constantly talking about how great it
would be to have a featherweight sewing machine, my DH
bought me one. I was so surprised. It is wonderful. I
need to know how to find someone to work on it. I really
know very little about them, this one definitely needs to be
cleaned and tuned up. I have noticed that the foot pedal
seems to stick down sometimes (this scares me because I
don't want to run over my fingers) Anyway, my question is
how do I find a repair person to work on it. Do I just take
it to any sewing store and let them work on it. We have
recently moved, so I don't have a regular shop and I don't
really know who to ask. Also my machine came with some
plastic cams, I'm sure that they don't go to the machine (at
least I think I am) but I don't know what I should do with
them. I've been to the Featherweight Fanatics web site, but
I couldn't find much help there.
I'd appreciate any help you can give.
TIA
Kim

Subject: Photo Album

This is my first posting to KK. Just wanted to tell everyone what a quilt teacher once told us. Take a picture of every project you do and keep a photo album for show and tell. I always take a picture as soon as I have finished a project and am proud to show them to my other quilting friends and especially if I have already given the quilt away. Will always have the nice memories even long after the quilt is worn out.
Sue in rainy gloomy today but we need it.
