The group is about 200+ members. We meet every Monday from 9-4pm at Independence Hall on Blagen Rd. We have a beginning quilting class every Monday thru the local college. We also have both inhouse and outside teacher classes through out the year. Our quilt faire is every June. Come and meet new friends and have a great time!

Our purpose to two-fold. While we increase the communities appreciation of, and knowledge in, the needle arts--particularly quiltmaking--we raise funds for student scholarships and campus projects and improvements thru the creation of an annual quilt offered through an opportunity drawing.

We meet the first Saturday of the month, until April 1996, when we will begin meeting the second Saturday of every month. Our membership is open to all in the community who would like to support our goals. Quilters Etc. is a small to medium sized quilting guild which meets the fourth Thursday of each month in either Lompoc or Solvang Ca. Annual dues are $15. US and there is no charge for guests. Workshops, lectures, and an annual retreat plus bi annual quilt show are the focus of our efforts. Meetings: Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the McFall Room of the Manteca Library, 320 W Center Stree, Manteca. No meeting is held in November and the December time and date are not yet determined.

Manteca Quilters was established in March 1979. The purposes of this organization are: to contribute to the knowledge of and to promote the appreciation of fine quilts; to sponsor and support quilting activities; to encourage quilt making and collecting; to increase the knowledge of quilting history, techniques, textiles, patterns and needlearts; and to promote the growth of quiltmakers through educational meetings, travel, and fellowship.

Members receive regular newsletters, may borrow from the club library and may attend Tuesday morning and evening open workshops, as well as, monthly weekend workshops. We have our annual quilt show the first weekend in March.

GQCCC, founded in 1973, is the oldest quilt guild in California. Our 300+ member guild is dedicated to preserving the tradition of quilting. Friendship Guild Home Page

The guild has over 150 members with a wide variety of quilting interests. Meetings are held monthly on the second Monday of the months of September through June at the Tierra Bonita Elementary School at 14678 Tierra Bonita Road in Poway, California. (Poway is a northern suburb of San Diego) There is a nominal $3.00 guest fee for non-members. Members pay $20.00 per year for membership, which includes all activities and a monthly newsletter mailed to their home. Newsletter only memberships are available for those who are unableto attend the meetings.

Meeting room doors open at 6:00 for socializing and browsing the extensive library of rare and unusual as well as current quilting books. The program begins at 7:00 sharp! There is usually a nationally known guest speaker to present an interesting program in addition to the regular meeting events which includes "sharing" time when the members and guests share their quilting experiences adn projects with the guild. From beginner to professional, Friendship Quilters has something to offer all quilters.

Every general meeting features a new professional speaker, show 'n' tell, various raffles, an extensive library of quilt related books available for loan, refreshments, and opportunities to make quilt blocks with others in small groups. There is also lots of info about coming workshops. Annual membership dues are $20.00 which includes a monthly newsletter.

The Santa Monica Quilt Guild is comprised of approximately 100 members. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, located at 1008 11th Street, Santa Monica, CA

Our membership is currently open to the public. Your may attend any of our monthly meetings as a "guest" ($3.00 charge). This fee, along with our yearly dues ($30) contributes to our monthly guest speakers, workshops, refreshments and rental of our facility.

We offer you the opportunity too partake in minigroups, assist with our annual quilt show, and to participate in the creation of our yearly opportunity quilt.

The purpose of El Camino Quilters is to promote interest in all forms of quilting, to inspire and encourage quilt making, and to gain knowledge of quilting techniques, patterns, and history through education, meetings, and friendship.

Guild meetings feature a guest speaker or member-conducted demonstration, show and tell, block of the month, community service project planning, lending library, friendship blocks, challenges, round robins, opportunity quilt, pot-luck parties in July and December, and a short business section. Quilting workshops offer an opportunity for members to quilt together and learn new techniques. Basting Days are at the Oceanside Senior Center (455 Country Club Lane, Oceanside) on third Tuesdays.

El Camino Quilters Annual Quilt Show is presented in April. Quilts and garments made by our members are displayed at the historic Rancho Buena Vista Adobe in Vista.

Our membership is very friendly and supportive. Guests and new members are welcome to visit and join in our fun! Annual dues are $15.00.
