All of the foundation block on this page, except the Light House block, are three inches finished size. The Light House block is designed to be six inches square when finished. The foundations should be printed out 1/2" larger to include the 1/4" seam allowance on all sides of the block.

To be sure that the blocks finish at the correct size, test the printer before printing out the foundation. By altering the scale option of the page setup available on many computers, blocks can be printed out in a large variety of sizes. Don't be afraid to experiment.

Any of these blocks can be combined into a wall hanging or small quilt. They can also be used alone as an accent on a sweatrshirt or vest. All can be enhanced by the use of embellishments and embroidery. Experiment and enjoy!
