Is anyone out there interested in doing a round robin with me I
would like to swap 5" 61/2", 8", 10" and 12" squares. We could get a
couple of these swaps going in different sizes. Here's how it works.
1. I will have a mailing list of all who would like to play.
2. I will be the first person on the list to start the round robin with 50 different squares placed in a baggie along with the mailing list and mail it to the 2nd person on the list.
3. That person will pull out what she/he would like to swap and replace that amount back in the baggy and mail it to the 3rd person on the list.
4. This will continue to the next and so on until it comes back to me and then I will replace the old squares that no one wanted and start all over again.
5. Please use only 100% cotton quilt shop quiality fabrics. No flimsy/see through/or stiff fabrics. Only swap what you would like to have in return.
6. All fabrics are to be washed and iron and cut to the appropriate size NO SELVAGES PLEASE.
If you are intersted in this swap please let me know.
I hope to begin this swap 3/1/05
Thank You
Brenda

ABC Quilts, a non-profit charity providing love and comfort to at-risk children, has again been invited to the 2005 Vermont Quilt Festival to make crib quilts with the attendees. Again this year we invite quilters from all over the world to join with us by sending 8 1/2" squares of kid's fabric to ABCQ. We'll sew them into quilt tops at the festival and they will be distributed to neo-natal and pediatric facilities all over the US. Wide World of Quilting readers have genorously joined this effort in past years and lots of kids have a quilt to comfort them as a result. Send your squares to ABC Quilts, 569 First NH Turnpike #3, Northwood, NH 03261. Thank you and God Bless. You can email me if you need more info. Grampa John in NH
Hi! I am looking for the Moda fabric "Morning Glory" by Robyn Pandolph. I need 2 yards of the red background with the large cream roses.
Hi, I'm collecting the Kyle's Marketplace II fabrics, and I am looking for a few I don't have. I'm missing the potatoes, yellow corn, green peppers, beetroot (I think that is what it is, it's a deep red), and green gourds or pumpkins. If you have any of these and are willing to sell to me, please contact me. I'd also be willing to trade 5.5 inch squares from the fruit and veggie fabrics I do have. Thanks!
I am looking for a fabric from Moda's Folk Art Christmas line, think it is about 4 years old(?) It is a green tone on tone ivy print. A later collection came out with a similar fabric, also a tone on tone in green with a leafy vine and dots. Can send a scan to verify fabrics. Would be willing to purchase or trade.
All these blocks are in perfect condition, on white fabric from the manufacturer. I have completed the projects I needed and these are extras. I know someone will enjoy them, as I did!
All of these blocks are done with that blue dye that completely washes out of the piece when you finish your stitchery, so do not wash your blocks prior to completion!
Pansy blocks
total of 12 blocks finish at 17 by 17 ea
Very pretty , I enjoyed making this quilt. These are to be embroidered. I have photos of the original paper that came with it and a photo of a block from my quilt I made with this.
Violet blocks.
Total of 5 blocks here. Finished size 15.5 by 15.5
Another pretty one. I scanned a photo of the original paper that came with these blocks, and also a photo of part of a block I had already done. This is a cross stitch piece, with stright stitching outlines around the flowers and leaf.
Roses Block
Total of 2 blocks here, all embroidery work with this one, I made a very cute quilt in which I made the roses all different colors. I am scanning a part of a block I did to give you an idea of this one.
I would like to trade 2 blocks of these pieces for 1/4 yard of quality quilt shop 100% fabric. If you need 8 of these blocks, thats a full yard , and so on. Email me and we can see what I have you would like and what you have I would use.
I will be out of town 2 weeks in Feb, so if I dont get right back to you, that is why. My email is TINAPQ@aol.com and the photos are also on my member profile page on AOL. I will be happy to email you photos I have for you to look at!

Also looking for Debbie Mumm "Chickens on the Go", any background color. This is most likely a discontinued fabric. Will buy or trade. Thanks!!!
I am looking for a discontinued fabric. It is from Fabric Traditions, 1998 copyright. It is a beigey/yellow background with teal roosters and hmmm, kind of deep rose or cranberry hens, then both hens and roosters of grey. There are eggs of the same color. Both sexes of chickens are less than an inch square, eggs less than 1/4", scattered across the fabric right side up and up side down. Both chickens and eggs have slightly darker "shadows" under them. If anyone thinks they may have this, I can email a scan of the fabric. Will pay or trade. Thanks!

I am looking for quilters who would like to exchange at least 6" squares and/or 2" strips of very dark and very light purples for a pineaplle quilt, as well as the same sizes in very dark and very light scraps for a log cabin quilt. Would consider exchanging gallon size bags of scraps. What do you want in exchange?
I am cleaning house prior to my new house move and have taken many of the small pieces of fabric i had left over from quilts I have done in the past 5 years and cut them into usable sizes. I am once again offering them up to other quilters who could put them to good use. In the past I have traded them for yardage of white on white or light cream/ tan print fabric, and this worked out very well. In my last trade session all the fabric pieces I had went to new homes and I in return got fabrics I could use in projects I was working on. :)
Soooo.... this is what I have...
5" charm squares... all different in grouping of 25...some 50 piece groups, 1 of each, no duplicates.
I will do 50 sqaures 5" for 1 yard of fabric....
2.5" squares... I will do 100 squares for 1 yard of fabric.
I also have some 4 inch and some 3 inch squares.
All fabrics are prints,no solids, assorted colors, and most are great quality quilt shop fabrics, and a few hand dyed and batiks as well in the groups. Perfect for charm or scrap quilts!
Email me and lets wheel and deal TinaPQ@aol.com
First come first served!
ps... to those who I have traded with before, I have misplaced your email addys, I would love to trade with you again!
