"Scrap"
(at the corner of Selby and Oakdale)
Specializing in: This "store" is only open
three days a week and is filled with everything you could think of. But
what was so cool was their fabric! I was able to get a big shopping bag
filled to the brim for two and a half bucks! Their textiles are rolled up
into logs and their scraps are in big cardboard vats. A good portion of
thier fabrics were for upholstry, but I had no problem finding large
sections of cotton. And good quality stuff too; it looked like a lot of the
stuff were discards from sewing factories.
