Has anyone tried, bought or know about the NEW Bernina 440QE? I'm a bit in love with the idea of the stitch regulator

Janome makes a nice machine with a stitch regulator. A friend recently bought one. I am impressed with the many great quilt qualities without the high price tag the Bernina machines carry. Anyone needing alot of great features should look at Janome for less money and fine qualities.

I PURCHASED A 44QE IN FEB. THEY ARE
WONDERFUL THE STITCH REGULATOR MAKES BEAWUTIFUL STITCHES. IF YOU CAN GO TO A DEALER AND USE ONE YOU WILL LOVE IT.

YES! I've only had my machine a month and not had a lot of time to play with it :(
but it sure does make the free motion quilting look a lot better. I still need to work on getting the motion smooth. I would definitely go to a dealer and try it out.

Wait till you try it and you'll fall totally in love! A very nice feature; practice is still needed - doesn't automatically turn one into a whizz free motioner!
