Our question this week comes Catherine M:

What is the best way to determine the value of a dark color in a water color quilt? I have a ruby red value indicator, but all darks look dark.

Sheila :
Photo-copy your material in black and white and you will see the value of each color. Then place them on a sheet of paper number them 1 thru ? and you will alway know the value of a color.

Rhonda G. :
Photocopy your fabrics in black and white and you will quickly see which are darker. You may also be able to do that with your computer scanner program.
